Great photos, both! I wish I was there this morning!
But, I will be there on Christmas Eve, so I can catch the 767 from Kabo Air! :-)
I hope that Christmas (Eve) will be white, so that we get some bigger passenger diversions, like A330, A340,....

One question to all here:

What does the aircraft do when they get diverted. Do they have to park and wait, are the passengers allowed to deboard or are they be driven home by bus'es/trains/...? I never know that and as we have the "problem" now, I am happy to ask you that!

Thanks in advance
Kevin

depending on the situation. The Jet4you 737 kept the pax on board in order to be ready as soon as possible again if their destination was reachable again. But if the delay takes a longer time normally the passangers are given alternate transport to their destination, either by being rebooked on another flight (if available) or by bus, train etc...

don't know how it was done today, as far as I know all diverted aircraft are still at LUX.

Yes indeed:!:
Just a question from the ones who do not know, where did the Jet4You came from?

Thank you Peter Exclamation

Some 22 years ago I was on a SABENA flight from JFK to Brussels, we also had to divert due to fog at Brussels. As my final destination was LUX I had a hard time to get out of the plane ... but finally they let me out, but I had to pick up my luggage the next day.
