Friday the 13th!!!!

Strange day at work and strange things at the airport after work. Saw a Ryan International 767 on radar close to us, but it did not come to LUX. Some other aircraft did find their way to us!

LX-ZCV lost the Cargolux logo and will be leaving us very soon...

finally got an Avro in Air France colors!

a very old helicopter is this French registered Alouette III that started it career with the Dutch Army back in the 1960s. As the crew was unable to speak anything else than French it got quite some delay before departure...

nothing special, those Lufthansa CRJs, but liked the background this time :-)

Darwin was again present with HB-IZP still in Ginn Racing colors.

then I packed my bags and folded my ladder and stowed all in my car as nothing happend around the Corsair 747 on P8 and no sign of any Ryan 767s or National DC-8s. The moment I closed the car doors National called up on approach and few seconds later Corsair asked startup clearance... all out of the car again and even the sun came out for the last two pics of the day.

National came all the way from Ostend and had to vacate the runway at the end (starting Cargolux 747 blocked the entry of P7)

and "Corsair 091" departed for the "long" flight to Orly. I hoped for an early rotation and I got one :-)

So after all, this Friday the 13th turned out quite well for me!

Fine pics, Peter, congratulations!
That`s what N155CA looked like a little bit more than just 4 years after her delivery to Transinternational in August 1969:

(This time at home and -unfortunately- not in the woods.. Shocked )
