LX-MDT is owned by the Cercle Para de Luxembourg. The Ministry of Tourism is sponsoring the aircraft (financial subsidy).

landed around 17:35, a Learjet 40, probably on delivery. I was able to shoot it from home and this time that made it a bit more interesting as it had a surprise under the wing!

Hi, this is my first picture post. My shots are not as good as the ones of the established ones around here, but I hope you'll like them nevertheless Smile

Luxair LX-LGR "fighting" it's way through the barbed wire

Cargolux LX-SCV wide-angle

LX-SCVs tail, with a little bit of dirt

closeup on it's RR engines

a bit wider

in the background LX-ZCV returning from the testflight and about the initiate the "go-around" manoeuvre

LX-ZCVs tail with the Cargolux logo still visible

closeup of it's winglet, also there the logo still being visible

LX-ZCVs engines (it was standing multiple times at H/P B4, for several minutes due to inbound traffic, so I just had to make some closeups Razz )

shortly before leaving, LX-VCB came down to the holding point

Hi Mike,

Good job for a first post. It is always difficult to take pictures against strong backlight or when the ladder is not high enough (as I experienced it myself yesterday). The close up of LX-SCV are very good.

Just one remark. The size of your files is close to 1 MB so the download time is considerable for those one having no high speed dsl. The size of my pictures is only +/- 250 KB.

Tristan,

Very good shoots of the rejected approach

Oliton,

Very good shots as usual. Can you take bad pictures too ? Very Happy

My favourites: The Short with the wonderful propellers Very Happy and the impressive 748 take off

Afterburner and T-Bolux,

Thank you for your positive comments

Your camera knows where to put the focus: on the plane and not on the spotter. Good spotting camera! Wink
