PostSubject: Need help to identify   Sun Apr 27, 2008 12:05 am

Hi
Here a selection of the planes what i saw this saturday afternoon while i was playing with my kids at Mersch in the park.
Some of the planes i can identify, for the other i need your help.
@ Peter: Is it ok to post this pics? If not, delete the thread.

F-100? Dark blue or black tail section, airline unknown

Must be RA-1909K, the Aero L-39 seen at LUX this day

LX-AIG, Piper PA-28

F100 Portugalia

British Airways, is it an 757?

KLM, an 777?

Next KLM, also an 777?

Special livery A340 China Eastern, unfortunately far away and behind a bit of fog ( Schleierwolke)

Ryanair 737

Air France! 777?

Strange wings...or is it only the angle who makes it looking strange?
No idea what kind of plane type and airline

Saw this chopper the whole afternoon turning around over Mersch,Lintgen and the aera. Why? i don't know but i think it has to do with the tunnel of the " contournement, route du nord"

Airbus? airline?

A330 LTU?

I think it's an Egypt air. Plane?

LX-AVG

F100? Maybe it was one of the nice visitors at LUX this afternoon.

A340 Qatar

Dark tail section, black nose. Must be an 737 Malev

LX-PEZ

LX-RCD

57APT. Saw this one a couple of times during the last days. Maybe he's at Useldange. Type???

737 Air Berlin new livery

Air Berlin old livery?

LX-AIW

747 China Airlines cargo, coming from LUX with heavy backlight

A340? It has a fine stripe under the tail section. Can it be an Ethiad?

A319? TAP

Absolutely no idea who and what

LX-ATT. Never seen before at LUX.

A340. Olympic?

And the last one is an strange coloured 737. If i'm right it must be an 737-200. There is or was an airline at Manchester who flies this kind of livery on his 737-200. Something with Europe in the name, but i dont remember the correct name.

I hope you can help me to identify some of the unknown planes and airlines.
Greets and thanks in advance
Ray

Hi Ray, concerning the chopper. It might have something to do with construction, because "Kurt" is a big construction firm in Luxembourg, which has also something to do with the "Nordstrooss". Maybe for aerial measurements...?!
